Japanese Ukiyo-e: Past and Present NO.22 ART SALON

On March 28, the East–West Cultural and Art Exchange Foundation presented its 22nd Art Salon, “Japanese Ukiyo-e: Past and Present,” featuring guest speaker Cindy Wang.

During the event, Wang presented a selection of rare Ukiyo-e works from her personal collection and guided guests through the origins, major artistic movements, and distinctive characteristics of this important Japanese art form. Her presentation also explored the broader influence of Ukiyo-e on the development of Western and modern art.
