Ziyi Zhang

Mr. Zhang started photography in 2003 at the age of 75 years old. He shoots and plays the images of tree stumps in his daily life, capturing nature in the elegant melody interwoven in light and shadows. He shows the macro in the micro, the reality among abstract and records those tree stumps in beautiful illusions with his photographic art work. The camera no longer plays a central role here. It is but a note-taker of his eyes and heart. Born in Nanjing Jiangsu, China.
