On May 3, 2026, the Foundation hosted its 23rd Art Salon, inviting guests on a poetic journey through the Grand View Garden of Dream of the Red Chamber. Led by an experienced Chinese-American educator with a deep interest in classical Chinese poetry, the gathering explored the beauty and meaning of selected poems from this literary masterpiece.

Dream of the Red Chamber, written by Cao Xueqin in the 18th century, is one of the great classics of Chinese literature. Through its richly drawn characters and poetic storytelling, it explores love, family, beauty, and the fleeting nature of life.
